On Friday, May 19th, we held our 4th annual J.A. Day. On this day, volunteers from Chase, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and US Bank volunteered in our 3rd - 5th grade classrooms while Desert Hot Springs High School students volunteered in our Kindergarten - 2nd grade classes. The volunteers taught the Junior Achievement curriculum which works to change students’ lives by helping them understand business and economics. Thank you to our volunteers for taking the time to provide our students with this opportunity.
On Saturday, May 13th, the Two Bunch Palms Red Hot Ballroom dancing team competed against other schools in the district at Palm Springs High School. Congratulations to Daniel Marquez & Jessica Dominguez for placing 2nd place in the Tango and Ashley Marin & Valentina Torres for placing 3rd place in the Waltz.
Nine students went to the District Science Fair for judging and interviews on Tuesday at Cathedral City High School. At the awards ceremony on Wednesday, February 22 the following students and classes received awards:Bronze medals went to:
